Project Description
Enviro Links Design conducted the landscape impact assessment for a new green field estate development proposed to house a population of 18,000 people. The assessment dealt with primarily major views to and from the site and the degree to which the new development would be visible. It highlighted key vegetation characteristics and the general landscape character of the proposed site and its immediate surrounds. We also advised potential landscape principles from which estate streetscapes designs could be modelled off.
In 2012 ELD also completed a secondary visual assessment of a proposed pond and dam embankment to be situated at the heart of the new estate.
