University of Canberra Innovation Centre (UCIC)

The UCIC project required the landscape design and specialist supervision of the building surrounds and car park spaces. The design integrated non SW pipe environmentally sustainable water management principles, utilising roof water and carpark stormwater discharge to rock cascades, swales, nutrient stripping ponds and wetlands attractively integrated into the landscaped setting.  Enviro Links Design was awarded the 2006 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects ACT ACTEW Award for Water Sensitive Urban Design (Institutional) and later the 2008 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects ACT Award for Design in Landscape Architecture for this project.
