Vegetation Assessments

ELD has conducted numerous tree assessments and approvals at over 50 Canberra suburbs, including 25 suburbs since 2008. Assessments in the ACT are carried out in accordance with the Tree Protection Act (2005) criteria and often can include subsequent Tree Management Plans (TMP) and Landscape Management and Protection Plans (LMPP) for Development Application submissions. ELD also often assesses trees on Government land and liaises with relevant tree managing bodies.  Tree assessments range from small singular assessments to large scale 500+ trees. Through 2011 and 2012 we completed several assessments adopting the LDA format for new and existing suburb development master plans including Jacka Estate (500+ assessment entries) and Eastlake (600+ assessment entries).
